Social Responsibility & Code of Conduct
The London Rolling Film Festival is committed to creating an inclusive, respectful and welcoming environment for filmmakers, audiences, partners and staff.
Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
We support diverse voices in filmmaking and aim to provide a platform for storytellers from different cultures, backgrounds and perspectives. Our programming and partnerships seek to reflect the diversity of the global film community.
Respectful Environment
We maintain a zero-tolerance approach to harassment, discrimination or abusive behaviour. All participants, including staff, volunteers, filmmakers and guests, are expected to treat each other with professionalism and respect.
Accessibility
We work with venues that provide accessible facilities and encourage filmmakers to include captions or subtitles where possible. Audience members and filmmakers are invited to contact the festival in advance if they require additional support so that we can accommodate their needs.
Environmental Awareness
Where possible, the festival aims to minimise its environmental impact by encouraging digital submissions, reducing printed materials and working with venues that support sustainable practices.
Community and Industry Support
The festival supports independent filmmakers through initiatives such as networking opportunities, industry panels and the Help to Roll Fund, which aims to assist filmmakers whose projects align with the festival’s values.
Reporting Concerns
Anyone experiencing or witnessing behaviour that does not align with this policy is encouraged to contact the festival team so that appropriate action can be taken.
